COURSES OFFERED INCLUDE:

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Course Summary. Healthcorp’s HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. CPR skills should be updated annually and is recommended to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Course duration:

Mixed Mode: Completion of pre-course study plus 2 hours practical training
Face to Face: 3 hours face to face training

Refresher Course duration:

Mixed Mode: Completion pre-course study plus 1.5 hours practical training
Face to Face: 3 hours face to face training

Award issued:

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment:
HLTAID001 Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Course Summary. The HLTAID003 Provide first aid course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide a First Aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Course duration:

Mixed Mode: Completion of pre-course study plus 5.5 hours practical training
Face to Face: Minimum of 8 hours face to face training

Refresher Course duration:

Mixed Mode: Completion pre-course study plus 4 hours practical training
Face to Face: 8 hours face to face training

Award issued:

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:
HLTAID003 Provide first aid
HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

Course Summary. HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting is part of the fully accredited first aid training that gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond in an emergency situation. HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting is relevant for all staff employed in the childcare and education sector as well as parents and caregivers of children. It provides the necessary skills required to provide a first aid response to infants, children as well as adults. This course includes First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training for students as required for compliance under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulation (2011). The course comprises pre-course learning and practical training plus face-to-face training hours.

Mixed Mode: Completion of pre-course study plus 7 hours practical training
Face to Face: 10 hours face to face training

Refresher Course duration:

Mixed Mode: Completion pre-course study plus 6.5 hours practical training
Face to Face: 10 hours face to face training

HLTAID005 Provide first aid in a remote situation

Course Summary. HLTAID005 Provide first aid in a remote situation will give you the skills and knowledge to respond to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation. HLTAID005 applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

Course Summary. Bailey Training Pty Ltd offer a combined Asthma and Anaphylaxis course that is designed to train participants on how to deal with Asthma and Anaphylaxis allergies and reactions in a range of situations, including childcare centres, public places, workplaces, schools and sporting events.
